Sunreef 74 Hull #01

Reliance to deliver the first SR74

Sunreef Yachts have confirmed the launch of three Sunreef 74s for the start of next year. Reliance Yacht Management has collected hull no. 1 from the yard for delivery to a private Owner in US. We sent our leading catamaran crews to Poland in January 2015 for a period of orientation, sea trials, preparation and handover. The first hull named Wildberry is described by Sunreef as “a private yacht adapted for on board living and consists of many comfortable areas and numerous storage spaces as the owners are planning long cruises. The yacht will comfortably accommodate 6 guests and 2-3 crew members.”

Crew Required, Bavaria 55 Malta to UK

Here is another great opportunity to gain some serious offshore sailing experience and to add over over 2000 nautical miles to your logbooks.

We have one remaining vacancy for a crew to deliver a Bavaria 55 from Malta to South Coast UK. The passage is can expect to take 20-25 days but as always flexibility will be expected. All on board expenses will be covered plus reasonable travel costs.

Nauticat 42

A big thanks to Captain Mike Stewart and his crew for the safe delivery of a Nauticat 42 from Chichester to Scotland.

It was a tough trip up the Irish Sea with steady F6 and heavy stern seas pushing them to 13 knots at times. The proud new owner was on the dock to catch the lines as they arrived.

Reliance Yacht Management launches a new on line service that enhances the client experience of their delivery service.

Reliance Yacht management provides a secure dedicated webpage that client can log into and see the progress of their yacht. The site also offers live weather charts of the area. Clients will get updates direct from the captain and the operations desk at Reliance. A popular feature is the video reports provided by the Captain whereby the client can see their yacht and hear direct from the Captain.

The service has been trialled with a few selected clients and has received fantastic feedback. The plan is now to roll the service out worldwide and continue to add and refine features.

The service offers immediate access to the latest information. No need to wait until the captain reports in. Yacht owners can see the position of their yacht and the local weather charts 24/7.

Fleet operators can monitor progress and with accurate ETAs be able to plan for charters and maximise potential revenue.

New Owners can share the excitement and anticipation with friends and family as they see their yacht on line get closer and closer to its new cruising area.

With its responsive design that is accessible on mobile devices, Owners can follow their yacht from virtually anyway in the world.

In this third posting in the series “In Praise of our Client” we highlight one of major yacht brokers  in the Mediterranean .
