The Yanmar dealer in Cascais has identified the engine problem. Wires were chafed. The harness was touching the engine controls at the helm station. They have both engine warranty books on board but not the warranty documents to check engine numbers.

14th November 2018; Arrived Cascais. Captain reports;

the engine died twice on route under normal use and without blowing a fuse.

Requested Dream Yachts that these issues be dealt with under warranty in Cascais.

11th November 2018; Departed Viveiro.

08th November 2018; Arrived Viveiro. Captain reports;

As you know we have arrived in Viveiro, and possibly will depart on Sunday or Monday, weather permitting. Departing Gijon, the port engine fuse once again blew, Steve was quick enough to replace it and get the engine running quickly, we now dock with engine cover and fuse cover open with 10A fuses at the ready. I had about 15L of water coming into the port bilge on the trip from Gijon, will be investigating the source of that while in harbour.

The panel above the master starboard heads came adrift. I have included some photographs. I have not put the panel back, I have stowed it.(the panel was located above the outboard basin).

Will be investigating the fuse issue in depth, the motor runs fine for hours without issue but the fuse blows when docking, possibly a throttle cable touching a wire or something.

07th November 2018; Departed Gijon. Engine fuse blew again on departure.
