The type and number of jobs listed change every day. You can find any opportunities connected with marine leisure on land or sea. Recent vacancies include sailing instructors, yacht brokers, and marina staff. [/toggler] [toggler title=’What experience do I need?’]

The required experience and qualifications will be referred to in each opportunity listed.

All delivery crew members should have passed at least the competent crew course or its equivalent, and must be capable of standing watch by day or night.

They must be prepared to take an active role in both sailing and maintenance, to keep a cheerful attitude and to enjoy the experience. On some voyages and for the role of mate, experience and further qualifications will be required[/toggler] [toggler title=’What could I learn as a delivery crew?’]Passage planning, provisioning, watch keeping, navigation, radio schedules, safe practices, fishing and more. Instruction is informal.[/toggler] [toggler title=’What do delivery crew need to bring?’]In soft bags, foul weather gear, life jacket and harness, soft non-slip shoes, light comfortable clothes, sun protection, sunglasses and hat, a swimsuit, towel, sleeping bag, rigging knife, toiletries & medications, change of clothes, a good book or two. If you want to learn celestial navigation you should bring your own sextant and tables. When selected for a voyage, your Captain will advise further on what you should bring specific to the trip

Do not bring too much, space is limited. Do not bring alcohol on board.[/toggler] [toggler title=’What is provided on delivery?’]The captain will have a budget to provide all meals on board. In some circumstances we will be able to assist with travel costs and on some voyages a cash bonus will be available for the first mate[/toggler] [toggler title=’What are the boats you deliver?’]Reliance is contracted to deliver many different types of boats all over the world. However the majority of our work involves moving new luxury monohulls and catamarans.[/toggler] [toggler title=’How many on board?’]Depending on the size of the yacht and the proposed voyage, there may be between three to eight on board.[/toggler] [toggler title=’Where do we go?’]You may be asked to take the yacht to any of a number of exotic and popular sailing destinations including the Caribbean, Mexico, Turkey, Tahiti, South Africa, Mediterranean, Tonga………….[/toggler] [/togglergroup]
