For the last 9 years Richard has been running his own boat valeting business in Southampton, regularly dealing with boat owners and brokers. Like Reliance, Richard largely built his business on its good reputation and word-of-mouth recommendations. He understands the importance of not only completing the task in hand, whether that’s yacht delivery or valet, but the importance being the face of a company, representing its values and image. Before focusing on his business, Richard was a competent delivery captain with over 30,000nm to his name. Recently he has been keen to get off the sidelines and under sail once more; he is an enthusiastic, well experienced and well qualified delivery captain.
