Yacht Deliveries – What to Expect

Peace of mind.

ISO;9001

We know it can be a daunting task to trust your precious yacht to someone else, but Reliance Yacht Management is highly experienced and we will allocate the task for her delivery to one of our qualified and experienced captains. Our policies and procedures are ISO9001 accredited and Captains put safety of the yacht and crew as paramount.

Protection

You or your agent can meet the Captain on board at the start for a briefing and handover. The captain will undertake a visual inspection of the yacht and complete a written condition report, highlighting any defects and issues. This may include recommendations for repairs and equipment to enable a safe passage.  Preparation includes identifying areas of potential wear and tear and taking steps to minimise. To understand more of how we protect your boat please see the video at http://youtu.be/O4N7bs-pU54.

Care

The Captain will submit a passage plan and when safe to do so, the yacht will depart and make best possible time to destination.  Stops en route will only be made when essential for provisioning, refuelling and weather. On our long haul deliveries a satellite tracking system will allow you to follow the progress on line with updates sent to you phone, computer or tablet. Whilst on passage, routine cleaning and maintenance will be carried out on boat systems.

On arrival, the captain will make any necessary arrangements with immigration and customs. The yacht will be thoroughly cleaned. The Captain will provide a second condition report and liasie with you or your agent for a final handover.
