We are pleased to announce that Captain David Gibson has been appointed captain for the yacht Seren Wen.
Reliance Yacht Management is the central Agent for Seren Wen, a Moody 64 sailing yacht based in the Western Med.
Launched in 2003, Seren Wen is in immaculate condition, having always been maintained by a professional crew. The owner has spared no expense in keeping her in perfect order. She is outfitted for luxury and will be welcoming charter guests with all the comforts of home in fast and stable cruising style.
David is highly qualified, experienced and perfect for the position.
He is currently studying for his OOW which will be completed this year.
David is an experience sailor who has sailed and raced on sail yachts ranging from a 40M Dubois, a Swan 100, a 74’ and an 85’ Hoek design modern classics, Farr 65’s and a Volvo 60 and many smaller yachts as either skipper or mate. His career has progressed to the private side of the industry with a particular focus over recent years on engineering.

This is Miraggio, a 40 meter superyacht fresh out of refit and loaded on a semisubmersible vessel in Hong Kong. She will be discharged by P&M in Turkey before spending the summer season in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Congratulations to Captain Nick Collishaw on completing his latest delivery from Los Angeles to Anacortes, Washington.
Nick was tasked with moving a Jeanneau 53 from Los Angeles for a local client who wish to go cruising in the beautiful north west USA. the prevailing headwinds and currents on the pacific coast made the voyage particularly challenging, however the delivery was completed on time, on budget and in excellent condition.
